Why Are Clutch Bags The Best Thing That Can Ever Happen To You?

Different people have different personalities and no two people are the same, though they may have similar preferences and taste. When we talk about bags, there are people who love bags and others who like to be free of these burden on shoulders. Those of you who adore the wide array of bags and just love the branded bags, you would know that there are a myriad of bags in the market these days which are created to serve different purposes. For example- Handbags, crossbody bags, backpacks, clutches for girls, duffle bags, shoulder bags, laptop bags, tote bags, etc. and there are still many that I left out. 

In our busy day-to-day lives, it is inevitable that we carry these bags for different purposes according to the occasion. I personally like to just put my cash and phone deep inside my jeans pocket and leave the hassle of carrying a bag, however small it may be. The bags are an unnecessary baggage that we carry everyday because unfortunately, that’s our life. We have to have these bags so that when occasion calls for it, we are ready. Honestly speaking, I have never liked handbags and shoulder bags, instead I prefer backpacks and bags of that sort with different sizes. The only good thing is that all the bags that I aforementioned above also come in different shapes and sizes. 

We go to work and we need to have these bags to carry our things to office, etc. but I have come to realise that there is a certain type of bag that is underrated, Clutches. Clutches are a controversial accessory because except for a few, everybody else is unconvinced of their simplicity, chicness and practicality. 

When did clutch bags came into the light? It was in the 1920s. Women’s clothing were purposefully produced sans pockets and only affluent women could afford these clutches. In 2019, there are a wide range of clutch purses that come in different shapes and sizes, that are every bit as sensible and affordable as other bags. The best thing about clutches is that they are designed to suit every style, no matter what your personal style is, clutches are going to suit you. 

There are many types of clutches for girls like envelope clutch, party clutch, evening clutch, etc. that are usually glittery, sequin covered and embellished clutches. There are also leather clutches, also known as leather pouches as others like to prefer. Clutches are an exercise to minimalist lifestyle. They force you to carry only a limited amount of things in your purse. They are low maintenance while still managing classic impeccability. One may raise the question regarding the impracticality of Clutches but I think it is much better than a sling bags that weighs heavy on your shoulders. You can simply carry these in your hands and don’t have to worry about the discomfort of neck and back ache. 

You can be free from these aches and having to shift a bag from one arm to another to distribute the discomfort, and it’s an anxiety-fueled nightmare trying to find my lip balm in the abyss of my handbag. Carrying big handbag is not a luxury; it’s a trick. If I have a big handbag then I’ll just want to have more things in it but why should I do that. It’s different when it becomes important to carry a handbag because as a working woman, you need to have many things with you. Clutches boast an extremely basic and timeless vibe. 

Rather than spending loads of money on branded handbags, one can easily invest into affordable clutches and they come in different sizes so if you need a bigger clutch, you can have it. Every kind of bag has its own pros and cons. We all can agree on the fact that clutches aren’t for everyone but you can also use clutches for ‘light-pack’ lifestyle. They aren’t so impractical afterall.
